What do we do to contribute to make a greener planet? Read carefully.
The Animals Observatory has a global vision about sustainability. We make decisions to reduce the impact of the manufacturing but also to improve the relationships with our stakeholders. We locate the production mainly between Spain and Portugal to reduce the pollution generated by long distance transportation. We have long lasting relationships with the factories we work with, as one of our goals is to have stable and trustworthy relationships with our suppliers. The Animals Observatory collaborates with the Carbon Neutral UPS program. Throughout this program, we offset the CO2 emissions generated by the transport of packages. This collaboration has allowed us to mitigate 74.7 tones of CO2 between July and December of 2020. Other features include the Seaqual Initiative, a neighbouring organization that works with waste management and recycling industries to transform marine litter into upcycled marine plastic, so that leading brands and manufacturers can create sustainable products.
As for our deliveries, we use hang tag labels made with recycled paper. Our packaging is made with kraft paper bags (which uses less bleaching chemicals during the production process). We also have paper packing tape. The plastic bags that secure the clothes in the packaging are recycled and recyclable.

You can request a return or an exchange for any product within 15 days from the delivery date.
For European Union customers returns we offer free return shipping.
For the rest of the world orders, we accept returns, but customers must take care of shipping and any duty costs, if they are applied.
If you processed your order as a guest you must contact our Customer Service. They will provide a return authorization and an UPS label if it applies.
If you have your own account, you can process a return through My Account section, go to Returns, then Request a New Return, choose the items you want to return and submit the request. You can contact our Customer Service who will provide a return authorization and an UPS label if it applies.
In order to exchange an item, you will need to return your order first, after which, provided it is received in the same condition as when shipped, a refund can be processed and you can make your new purchase.
TAO won’t assume shipping costs for the new order if they are applied, or any previous voucher/discount the customer had in the original order.
You will receive your refund within the next 30 calendar days from the reception of the product.
